Sports Blackout. Close. 6. Posted by 1 month ago. Sports Blackout. Recently got SlingTV and I’m loving it so far. My one big issue is I live in LA so every Laker game is blacked out. Since lakers have their own network I can’t find a way around this. Even with NBA TV or when they are on national TV I can’t watch a single game. The blackout affected various parts of the country including OKC, and in Texas. And yes, I have TWC. I'm in central Texas, checked my Roku/SlingTV to find a blackout. I exited SlingTV and opened WatchESPN on Roku to find the game in full play. I do NOT have cable so my login credential was my SlingTV account. I watched for a while but wasn't
